Hello Families:

Well everyone should have received the showcase/costume permission form by now, if not make sure to stop at the studio and get one.? It is due Dec. 18th.

Costume?pictures and prices are being done as we speak and will?be available in the office in the next week or two.

Warm-ups, shorts, and bags with Studios on Main are still available and orders will be taken until Dec. 10th.? Warm-ups are $70, shorts $10, Bags $17 (lg) $13 (sm).? That includes everything and you dont need to pay until you pick it up.

?

SNOW DAYS-We will be closed when the Upper Perk school district closes due to weather.? Please check the voicemail or email to double check.? We are not closed on IN-service days.

?

BALLROOM-The next session for ballroom will be Jan 14,21,28 and will cost $60 a couple.? We are also now offering a Beginner class at 7pm and an Intermediate class at 8pm.? Please call or email to reserve your spot!!

The new dollar store in the weis shopping center is open. the new owners and i have met and are they are very nice.  I always want to work with our community so if you go in mention that you are from the studio!!

Performances:  Miss Breanna will be performing friday 7, sat 2 and 7:30, sun 2 at her school. She was picked to perform her senior college solo.  Also Miss Brooke will be performing at Dancers for Dimes at Weidner University on sunday.  Go and support our seniors or just to enjoy a good show!!  Break a leg girls!

 

 

 

Everyone should have received the costume/showcase form by now…if you did not receive it please pick one up in the studio as they are due in december.  You must have one signed to have your costume ordered.  thank you.

 

Hello Families!  I have lots of exciting news for the next couple of months!!

 

First off…I have attached the Showcase/Costume agreement for anyone who needs it, but each family will receive one in their class(es).  This needs to filled out and returned so that costumes may be ordered for your child.  Please note that i have broken this into 3 payments for everyone but i will do other arrangements if needed, please just see me in the office.  Also note that the fee this year is 1/2 price of last year but that no tickets come with this fee, but its still cheaper than last year.  And tickets will be cheaper this year at the showcase also!

 

  

Ballroom 3 week session starts this friday and runs for the next 3 weeks and is $60 a couple.  It is a great date night with your spouse

 

I am also excited to introduce a new tap teacher, Miss Sarah.  She is a past student of mine who is now teaching the older taps students.  She is a new mom and has her degree in education.  She is sweet and is a fantastic tapper and teacher and i am happy for her to be passing this onto the 3rd generation of our teaching expertise. 

 

I should know by the next week or two the definate date and location for our christmas showcase and party.  Keep you posted )

 

Reminder tuition is due the first week of your class of the month…and thank you to all who are soo timely with your payments.  Also please spread the word that i always offer a free trial class to anyone who would like to try our studios.  No pressure, just come in and take a class and leave! 

 

Anyone wishing solo times with me, Miss Breanna, or any other teachers, they must be booked by Dec. 1st to perform in the showcase.  Solo classes are $20 1/2 hr. and are on a weekly basis and are paid directly to the teacher.

 

As always..please remember to wear your hair in a bun for your class, no clothing, and the proper shoes.  With winter approaching they may wear a sweater but it must be the color of your class requirement.  No hoods or strings is preferred.  I can order them from the dance supply company if you need one.

 

VERY EXCITING NEWS…..I have gotten warm-up suits for the kids for christmas!!!  They are the studio colors of black and teal, their name will be embroidered on the front and the studio logo and name on back.  They are $70 for top and bottom and includes all shipping and tax.  Also, shorts to match the t-shirts($10) are available for $10!  PLEASE PUT YOUR ORDER IN SOON FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY!!!!

 

I am also excited to say Miss Breanna went to her first of 7 college auditions and has been accepted in Adelphi University (long island) dance dept with a talent scholalship.  I know a lot of you have been asking so we will keep you posted as the months progress and until her final decision!  Thank you to all who are so supportive of her!!

Hello Families:

 

ITS A GIRL!!  I would like to welcome our newest ballerina….Julianna Sutera was born to the Sutera Family on 10/25 and weighed in at 8lb 11oz!!  I am so happy for the family and wish them the best <3

 

The halloween parade went great.  We had some bobbles but in the end its was fun and exciting.  I will be putting the pictures up on facebook and web-site this week! Upload any that you may have.  THANK YOU to Tiffany Collis for everything she did for me and the girls.  Also to the Sivel’s for the use of the truck and just always so supportive of me!!  Also to Joanne Schmalz for the water for the girls!! And to all the parents who walked and helped….I THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

 

Christmas presents will be available soon, we will be having warm-ups, tshirts and bags available for personalization. 

Spring Showcase and costume info packets will be coming in November.  Keep an eye out for this info so that we may order your costumes.  Pictures of your costumes will be out by christmas for you to see what we have picked for each class.

Hello Families:

 

This weekend is the halloween parade…YAY!!  We will be forming at 4pm in the Red Hill Firehouse Parking lot.  Please if you have younger children use your discretion as to when to bring them so they are not having to go to the bathroom or get to tired.  We will be walking by 6pm.  ALL younger children under 7 should have an adult or teen in charge of them. We will not be able to do bathroom breaks for all the children  Bring your stroller or wagons for them. There will be shuttles to Red hill and back, NO PARKING IS AVAILABLE in the area for loading. Also do not forget to bring candy to throw carefully! T-shirts will be in this week and will email everyone who ordered them ($10) when they arrive.  All costumes should be doll related.  We will have music playing and letting the kids dance as we go and the Advanced girls will be performing for the judges.  We want this is to be an exciting and fun group activity to represent Studios on Main ) See you there.

Christmas Mid-year showcase info and Spring showcase forms and paperwork will be coming in November please keep an eye out for it.  Also costume pictures and deposits will be due after christmas.  Anyone wishing to do a payment schedule can do so starting in November.

Can you believe its october already!  Fall is here and classes are starting their showcase routines! Dont forget the parade on Oct. 24th.  Dress as a doll or order a t-shirt for $10. Just bring a bag or two of candy to throw (carefully) and be ready to have a fun time!  Contact me or Tiffany Collis if you would like to help.  Bring your children in strollers, wagons or bikes.  I am looking for a volunteer who would like to make a banner for us. Call the office or email for any questions….we would love to see everyone there!

 

Please remember if your child has multiple classes to send water or you may purchase it for 50 cents.  After school children should always bring a water bottle with them. after care closes at 5:30.

 

Please make sure to pick-up your child as soon as their class is over.  There may not be anyone in the office to watch your child and we are not responsible for them once class is dismissed.

With winter approaching i would like to specify that if Upper Perk is closed due to weather the studio is also CLOSED.  After school care closes at 5pm if school lets out early due to weather. If unsure call the office or look on facebook or web-site.

Also I will be doing our christmas showcase a little different this year.  We will not be focusing on doing christmas songs but it will be more like a mid-year show so that parents can see what they have been learning so far this year, and what they will be performing in june.  This will allow us to have longer stage time and longer dances at the recital in june. But we will still have the studio party afterwards.  But i am in need of a church or building with a stage that is inexpensive that we may have it in, any ideas let me know.

 

I have a few piano openings on a monday left and some guitar on a friday. Call the office if interested.

I am Excited to tell everyone that we WILL BE doing the parade this year.  I hope everyone will come and participate and show your support for the studio.  Our theme will be dolls.  Everyone is to come dressed as a doll, any kind.  Tiffany Collis is in charge and we will be sending out more info shortly.  It is being held Sunday Oct. 24th and we will line up at 4pm.  If you dont want to dress you can purchase a studios on main tshirt for $10 and wear that.  All children are going to walk but wagons, strollers or cart for your child is allowed.  All children 3-5 Must have a parent with them.  We would love for every child to have a parent, grandparent, or friend walk to show support.  Please bring a bag of treats to pass out to the children watching the parade. I have tutus if you would like to sign one out for the parade, you are more than welcome to do this in the office. I hope to see EVERYONE there

Hip-Hop will be on Wed 6-7 this week only.  It is Miss Ashleys open house for her son and we need to move this one time.  Thanks for your understanding.  All levels come to this class!! 

 

Please remember if you have dance wear bills to add that to your october tuition payments. These bills are kept in the office if you are unsure how much you owe.

 

Next week will be bring a friend to class week.  you may bring a friend to your class if they are the right age for that class.  We welcome you to bring as many friends as you want!!  If they register you receive $10 off your next months tuition

 

The teachers are starting to choreogragh for our mid-year holiday show.  We encourage everyone to perform but you are not required and dates are pending.

 

Adult jazz on thursdays at 8:30-9:15  $5 for parents w/enrolled $10 for no student enrolled.

 

All piano and guitar students MUST GIVE 24 hour notice for cancellations or you must pay full price for that lesson.
