Posted in Announcements on April 8th, 2011 by adminJust a reminder our cheer competition team is now up and coming on friday nights 5:30-7:30. It is $55 but is discounted the more dance classes you take with us.?
Also we have 6-8 sm child studio jackets for sale. They cost $50 for the jacket and have their name embroidered on them.?
Competition Fees are due April 21st!!!?
Last order for tights and shoes is today at 6pm!! Please get them in to have the correct tight color. Also make sure that you look in the book for the correct hair style and shoes!! All Hip-Hop must have White sneakers. All preschool, beg. combo, elementary ballets have pink leather split soles shoes. All jazz have gore slip-on jazz shoes. Beg. tap is white and elementary and up is black lace up taps. Acro wears no tights or shoes. Musical theatre costume list is coming next week from Mr. Blair.?
Picture forms are coming home this week, if you dont get one please make sure to stop at the office and pick one up. All packages are for individual shots but also group pictures will be taken for packages and to be showcased in the lobby.?
We have leotards, tights, shirts and shoes in stock all year round. Our prices are competitive with the department stores but have better quality since they are made by dance companies.?
NEW****Hanging up in the lobby on monday will be a special order for hoodies, sweats and t-shirts from a dance distributor. they are well priced and include shipping, handling and taxes. Orders will be taken until April 20.?
Relay for life is starting May 4th at 5pm but would like everyone there around 4:30. Most classes will perform except for acro. Cheer will also perform!?
If you have purchased tights and shoes and have a bill in the office please take care of it this week please. If they are still on order you do not need to pay until they arrive at the office.?
Showcase ticket info will be coming in the next week of so. We will also be doing business ads and personal ads in the program this year. Kristen Funk and Christa LaSalle will be in charge of this.
WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR EASTER THURSDAY AND FRIDAY APRIL 21&22 FOR CLASSES!!

I have wonderful news…..Sarah and Kerri have won Nationals in Disney World for their cheer duo!!! Congratulations girls, we are soooo proud of you!!

Congratulations to Miss Brooke who was accepted into Alvernia and will be attending in the fall for early childhood education.? Way to go!!!!
?
Our dance majors are still?waiting on final choices But?Hilary was accepted into the dance program at DeSalle and Shenandoah- Miss?Breanna was accepted into the dance programs at Adelphi, Shenandoah and Slippery Rock. They are waiting on final decisions?to see where they choose to attend.? We are proud of them!!
?
Picture schedule is up and emailed for?May 14th!! Also Relay for Life is that day and we will be performing from 4:30-6 and a?schedule with what classes are performing will be up soon.
?
EASTER BREAK–WE WILL BE CLOSED THURS.?APRIL 21ST?THRU SUNDAY APRIL 24TH AND WILL REOPEN ON MONDAY?APRIL 25TH!!!? THERE?WILL BE NO PROGRAMS RUNNING DURING THIS TIME.?

Showcase is scheduled for June 11th at 2pm and ticket info will go out next month. It will be held at Upper Perkiomen High School on Walt Rd.

Costumes have been arriving so please make sure all payments are in so that they may start getting disbursed in class.
?
Our?competitive?cheer class on saturday is still holding registration if you would like to join. Contact the office immediately if your interested in joining.
?
The tight and shoe order sheet is?on the counter in the lobby. Please make sure you order your tights early so that they arrive in time for pictures.
?
We have new leotards and skirts that have arrived, check them out.?ALSO?i have children not?wearing the correct?Leather ballet shoes or jazz shoes (no laces)? Please make sure you check to see you have the correct shoes for pictures and the showcase.

Relay for Life has contacted us to perform again this year.? The problem is that it is the same day as pictures.? I would still like to do it since they will already be here and have costume and it gets them out to practice before the showcase.? If you really dont want to do it please let me know asap as i am speaking with them now about the time.
?
I have scheduled pictures May 14th from 10-3.? If a costume does not arrive in time we have a make-up scheduled for may 27th.? Picture information and costs will come out closer to the date.
?
I have attached the flier for?our summer camp. If you are looking for something different with alot of one-on-one care then we are for you.? Lots of activities and craft!!
?
We now have guitar lessons available on a flexable schedule if you are interested!!??Also piano and NOW horn lessons available.
?
We will be open March 18th!!? We will be closed for easter April 22nd-April 25th! Reopen Tues April 26th.
?
COSTUMES have started to arrive and need everyone’s final payments so that we can start to?hand them out!!

Costume payments were due Feb. 19th and costume orders have been?placed?and will start arriving next week through May.? If you have not paid for?your costume(s) you will not be able to take them when they arrive, until you have paid for them.?

Competition classes have started a fundraiser?until March 16th, PLEASE SELL TO MAKE YOUR FEES!

Visitation starts March 1-7!

We will not be closed any days in March.

I have put a list for you, on the counter in the office,?to order tights or shoes for the showcase. Please list your name and what you would like ordered and i will place the order at the end of march.

Summer camp info is coming out this week!!? Keep your eyes open if you are in need of childcare/camp for the summer. We have a non-dance summer camp for boys and girls!!?

We are still in need of 2-4 metal folding chairs, if you have any that you would sell/give to?the studio please call us

PARENT OBSERVATION WEEK- is being held March 1-7?(tues-mon).? Please make sure if you are bringing siblings that they will be able to be quiet during the classes, we dont want the class disrupted as this upsets the classroom setting.? thank you

If you have any metal folding chairs that you would like to sell or donate, we need 2-4 for our advanced level dancers to use.?
?
I have a list on the office counter if you need to order tights or shoes, please fill out so that i can place an order for you.
?
Costumes have been ordered and i am receiving the shipping dates and they vary from 2 weeks- May 16.
?
Pictures are May 14 in the morning-afternoon. Picture make-up day has been scheduled for May 27th at 6-7pm for any late coming costumes. This date will not be available if we receive ALL our costumes on schedule.

JUNE SHOWCASE IS JUNE 11 AT 2PM Upper Perkiomen High School.
?
Please make sure your child has the proper shoes for class.? No slippers for ballet, they must be the leather ballet shoes, Jazz shoes with no laces, and white/black tap shoes.

June Showcase is?JUNE 11TH at 2pm at the?Upper Perkiomen High School.? Rehearsal will most likely be friday night from 6-9, that?will be approved soon.

Our?NEW cheer competition team is starting practices and setting up uniform orders and we are NOW setting up competitions.? If you are interested please call and reserve a spot even if you cant start right away!!
?
Our summer?camp info is coming soon, if you are a?dance student here you do not have a registration fee!!?We have lots of theme weeks and daily trips to the pool.? If you want your child with someone you know and knows cares about your child, then we are for you!!

Look for the competition letter to parents, if you didnt receive one make sure you ask for one!

I know?with all the snow parking is difficult, so if your child is old?enough?drop them off of front and have them?walk up.? If you are staying then main street is the?best place to park right now.? We all know our little town does not make parking easy anywhere in town.? Thanks for your patience.

Everyone should have costume deposits in?by now for your costume to be ordered, if not please call the office asap to set-up arrangements.
?
Cheer class has begun and if you are interested please let us know, as we are starting to discuss competitions for this year.??
?
YOu can make-up any classes missed at any time! you do not have to come a certain date.??We have open make-up classes until the end of the year.

I will be trying to opening on Wednesday, even with the storm and the possibility of no school or a delay, they say it will warm up by late afternoon.? PLEASE CHECK THE WEB-SITE OR EMAIL BY 3PM TO SEE IF THERE IS CLASS. I know tuesday may be a problem so again check the web-site. Booo snow stinks

Summer camp and After-School care information?will be going out soon. If you would like a place reserved for a small program where we care about your child individually, call us! Theme weeks, lots of crafts, pool, ice cream and movie trips!

I am waiting on the high school to give me an offical date for recital, as soon as i hear i will pass it along!
