Hello Families!! A lot will be going on until showcase but i hope everyone is finding all the information that you need.  All information has been coming out in the newsletters, web-site, and bulletin boards at the studio. 
 
PICTURES are next week May 22nd from 10-2.  Please make sure to check what time your class is scheduled and make sure you are here 15 min prior to that time. Pictures forms have been going out in class but if you did not receive one look on the top of the tv for folders containing ALL FORMS AND FLIERS!! There are no make-up times so please make sure your child attends pictures so that all the children are in the group shots that will be displayed at the showcase.
 
FOOD/DRINK DONATION LIST- A list will be going up in the lobby next week for you to volunteer to bring something for the refreshment tables at the showcase. Christa LaSalle is in charge and there will be an email address for you to contact her.
 
Tights- The last tight order has come in and everyone needs to pick up their tights.  If you have invoices for unpaid tight/shoes they must be paid for by next friday.  Please make sure your children are wearing REVOLUTION brand tights only!  We want everyone to match for pictures and the showcase!
 
Memorial Day Weekend- We will be closed Friday May 28th-May 31st.  Ballroom and Cheering will be held at normal times!!

 

Relay for Life June 5th 3:15- I have attached the list of who is performing in this show.  Please make sure and be there if your class is scheduled to perform!!!  We will have a portable dance floor and tent to dance under!!  Bring water and your costumes!!  Be there by 3:00pm at UPHS in the tent.

June- Please make sure all tuition is paid by showcase! you will be asked at the door at rehearsal is your account is not up to date.  Thanks for the understanding in this.  All classes will still be held until the 19th.  we will be giving out pictures, awards, and ribbons that week. Regular tuition rates apply for June.

Summer Dance Schedule- Summer schedule is out and i have attached it for everyone for classes over the summer.  It is a 5 week session and is $60 for 1 class or $100 for 2 classes.  Other multiple class rates apply, please ask in the office for these rates. We will be having PIANO, VOCAL, AND GUITAR also available during the summer.  I also have a new musical theatre teacher, just for the summer as Mr. Blair is doing Pippin’.  She is very qualified and i have attached her resume also. She will be doing a theatre/musical theatre class, with more acting be added for the summer.  She will also available for vocal, piano and theatre lessons. We have also added a new guitar teacher her bio will be coming soon.  Please contact me soon if you wish to reserve a spot for summer, spots are limited for summer sessions.  I am also interviewing new Hip-Hop teachers for the summer session and will be making a decision soon and letting you know who is teaching the summer class.  I am excited with all the new teachers and being able to give the kids a variety and to meet new teachers!!!  FALL information will be coming out in July…..look for it :)

Tickets are on sale now for Showcase.  Buy them in the lobby!!!  Also DVD’s of the showcase are available and order forms are in the form folders in the lobby.

 

In need of volunteers for during the showcase, if you would like to spare some time in the childrens room or at the food/drink table please let me know it is kindly appreciated!!

 

Cheer Camp- it is filling up quickly if you would like to reserve a spot do so soon!! No payment is needed until June 19th!!

Summer Day Camp- Registration is ending soon!  We are flexible with you being able to pick 1-5 days and 4-8 hours a day!!  We also can do drop-off’s with 24 hour notice and will be going to the pool everyday and swim lessons if they are registered!  We have lots of fun activities planned with one-on-one care! why not bring your child someone there given attention and love because we care about every child!!

Hello Families!!  Can you believe that it is May already and we are counting down to the June Showcase!!  Please try and make sure your child(ren) are coming to their classes these last few weeks, it is a very important time!
 
Costumes are starting to come in and they will go out in class. If you have questions about your costume or accessories please call the office.  Most costumes will need some kind of altering, like taking the straps up or taking in the side, so that they fit them properly please make sure to do so BEFORE pictures! Also if your child has gloves double sided tape works great so that they do not fall down.   
 
Pictures are May 22nd from 10-2. The schedule is up on the bulletin board in the office. Come dressed and in make-up to the studio at least 15 min prior to your schedule time!! Forms are on the way now.
Tights-The last order for tights before pictures is going out on monday! You must order revolution tights so that all colors match please call the office asap if you have not ordered yours!!
 
Musical Theatre- They will be wearing their wells fargo costume for the group shot. you may choose to wear whatever costume you want for their individual photo. All payments for costumes must be made by picture day for your child to take theirs home.
 
JUNE 5TH-I have been asked by Relay for Life to perform at 3:15 on June 5th. I have happily accepted and will be sending some classes to the show to perform.  I will let you know next week what classes are going but i will need to know if anyone is NOT available for that date, as i will want a great majority of the class available to perform.  This is a great opportunity to perform and practice before the recital!!  Please let me know asap if your not available. thank you
 
Summer camp registration deadline is approaching so make sure to get your form in before May 30th to register….we have lots of fun activities planned. I cant wait :) )

Hello Families:
 
Just a friendly reminder that tuition is due the first lesson of the month!
 
If you put in an order for shoes or tights they have been ordered and will arrive by friday. Payment on your order is due when your items arrive. thank you
 
If you have a business and would like to advertise or put out a coupon for the families in our newsletters please let me know. This is a good way to get new business and also for our families to support each other!!
 
This saturday starting at 10:00 a silpada representitive will be here selling items for mothers day!!  If interested come and look over the items and support a local business woman!!
 
Picture schedule for pictures on May 22nd is hanging on the bulletin board when entering the studio!!  Please come 15 min early and dressed and ready to go!!  Forms will be available soon.
 
Summer dance schedule is coming very soon.  Classes will run 5 weeks for $60  and I have added a Theatre class for ages 7 and up!! This is a great way to try a new class!!
 
A new ballroom session is starting May 7th and will run 5 weeks.  Cost is $100.00 for new students  $80.00 past students.  Come learn the 2-step and some swing and more….
 
Tickets are now on sale for the recital!!! Buy them in the office.  You should all be receiving your recital packets this week. Please keep an eye on them from your child! They have all the pertinant info that you need!!
 
We have a photographer who is now working with the studio. She is a local business and this is the link to her site www.aimeemariephotography.com  if you know someone who needs senior pictures or wedding or whatever please help support her and give her a call!!  she has taken some great pictures of my advanced level girls and if you go onto her site click the studios on main link for the pictures of our girls!!!
 
Cheer and Summer Camp is still registering for a few more weeks!! Keep us in mind if you want a reasonably priced and one-on-one care for the summer!!

April 7th Newsletter

Hello Families:
 
Well the end of the year is approaching and coming to every class is vital, as our pieces are being finished for our showcase in June.  Showcase packets and tickets will be going out next week!!  There is a lot of information in there but if you ever have a question please feel free to call or email me. NO question is silly or a waste of time :)
 
Tights and shoe orders are going in SOON. Please let me know if you need to order your showcase tights.  There is a list in the studio on the bulletin board and i have attached it also.
 
Picture times are also attached for May 22nd.  Please come dressed in costume and with make-up on!! I will then come out to the lobby to take the children back and have their picture taken.  Forms will be coming soon to order them.
 
I am currently interviewing vocal teachers for voice lessons at the studio. If you are interested in having your child in voice please let me know asap so that your choice of times is available to you.
 
HIP-HOP WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY NEXT WEEK NOT MONDAY, at your regular scheduled times 5:30 & 6:30

Tickets for the showcase will be going on sale starting April 19th and are general seating. $10 adults, $7 senior, $5 child 

I know it is getting warm outside so please make sure that your child is NOT wearing long sleeve leotards BUT they must still wear tights.  Please make sure ALL HAIR IS UP AT ALL TIMES!!!!! thank you 

Our summer camp (not dance) is coming along and i have familes who have registered!! If you want a private one-on-one daycare with the love and caring and we can give CALL Me!!  $130 wk  No registration fees!  And Kristen Funk will be helping to run the program!! She has many years running camps and after school programs.  I also have many who have signed up for after-school care next year yea!! She will also be running this and this is a great opportunity to save some money but also have the option to add dance classes to keep them involved.  If interested please call or email  studiosonmainchildcareandcheer@yahoo.com  PM care starts at $12 a day.  The more dance classes they take the better the discount! 

Cheer Open House is this saturday from 11-12! Classes start next week. Spots are still available in the class and Camp!

Hello Families:
 
HIP-HOP–We will be having a hip-hop make-up April 5th. I know upper perk doesnt have school but we are doing a make-up for when Miss Rachel was sick. Please attend this class, we are getting close to recital and need the extra class!!  ALSO April 12th class will NOT BE held on Monday but will be held on Tuesday instead at the same times.

 

RECITAL-Recital notes will be going out very soon with all info.  Please remember recital date change of June 12!!

 

TICKETS-Tickets for the showcase will be going on sale in May! Prices are $10 adults, $7 Seniors, $5 2-10.

 

Cheering-Cheering class starts April 10th with an open house for $5. Class starts April 17th at 10:00am and is filling quickly, so if you want to register please do so quickly to reserve a spot.

 

Cheering Camp-June 21-25 9-3pm with extended care available for $5/wk.

 

Summer Camp-starts June 28! Do you want an alternative to daycare with one on one care and personal attention….then come to us!! $130 wk, half days and pick a day available. NO REGISTRATION FEES, pool, swim lessons, science lesson, park, games, movies, FUN! Reserve a spot now!!

 

Donations of food and drinks for the showcase are appreciated. This helps cover the cost for the janitors, security, and lighting. Please contact Christa LaSalle to donate food or time!

March Newsletter

HELLO Families, welcome to March and spring is on the way. Yea!!
 
Just reminder that this Friday is Sleepover night at the studio!! All children must have a permission slip filled out and signed by a Parent.  I have attached them!! All children ages 2nd grade-high school are welcome.  This is a children’s night with games, movies, and fun. Please make sure you child is ready to sleepover before you sign them up.  The cost is $7 and will include pizza, soda, donuts, oj, popcorn and snacks.  Please come in Pj’s and bring sleeping bag, pillow and preferably a mat too!! Drop off is 7pm with Pizza at 8pm and pickup is 8am.  Any questions just email or call me.
 
ANNOUNCING:  I have added and want you to welcome Kristen Funk to the staff of Studios On Main. She is going to be the child care Director.  She has put together an amazing Before & After school care program for the new year.  We will now offer morning care and after school care. Also she will have early dismissal care and school closed care!!! We will have care including conservatory classes and without!! Prices per day are $6 morning, $12 after school $25 full day, $10 per conservatory class taken. She has years of experience working for a local daycare as a director!!  She and I will also be doing a great summer camp here this summer. Cost for the summer is $130 full day, $80 half day or for 3 days a week. NO REGISTRATION FEES for summer camp!! This is not a dance camp!! A new flier is coming and will be sent out next week. 
  
Cheering Class is starting April 17 and has a great big group to start.  I am strongly suggesting that if you signed up your child for this that you first attend the $5 open house on April 10th to make sure this is something that they want to do. This flier and registration form is on the web site.
 
Also i have a new order of t-shirts coming with the logo smaller and including xs child. If you would like one please let me know and i will reserve one for you.
 
REMINDER!!  If you paid your costume deposit the balance WAS DUE Feb. 19th.  Costumes will be coming starting in april and must be paid for to receive them.  If you are not sure please ask at the desk if you owe. Also costumes are not made to order so you may have to take in/up your costumes to fit your child exact. Please count on having to do some alterations to them. I strongly suggest Pennsburg Cleaners the seamstress there has done meticulous work for me including beading!!
 
Drama Class is starting April 7th.  The cost is $40 for April and $40 for May. This is a special class run by Mr. Blair!  He has an extensive backround in acting including professional theatre.  Please sign your child up for this special class!!! I have attached the flier!
 
PICTURES have been scheduled for Saturday May 22nd. There will be no make-up times so please plan on attending so that i may display all the class pictures with all the children in them!!
  
I am also looking to find a vocal teacher. If you are interested in a vocal class or know a VERY GOOD vocal teacher please let me know.
 
OUR FIRST ADULT/TEEN SOCIAL DANCE will be this saturday night.  I have attached the flier for this. Everyone is invited it is a public dance and something that we will be doing once a month at the studio.  come with your friends and have a great inexpensive night dancing on the town.  SEE YOU THERE!!! 
 
Ballroom also started friday night!! It is not to late to still join!!  Learn cha cha, waltz, and swing.
 
So much is going on and starting up, but if you have an idea or a suggestion please leave a note on my desk and i will try to develop it!!  Children need a place to go and be active and safe and i hope Studios on main can be that place.  But also learn about the arts!!

2/25 Newsletter

Hello Families,
 
Can you believe this is the last newsletter for February already!  I just wanted to remind everyone of what is happening in the studio now an in the near future.
 
T-shirts have been ordered and are on their way! I have 5 shirts left if you still want one, let me know.
 
We will be closed for Easter April 2 (friday) until April 5 (monday) and will reopen April 6!
 
Registration for summer camp starts March 1 and ends May 30th. You must register to attend camp!  You can do from 1 day a week to 5 days, also 1/2 day and full days available!  Call for all prices.  NO REGISTRATION FEES!!  Summer cheering camp registration is also available March 1!
 
A new contest is coming for easter……wait and see!!!
 
SLEEPOVER!! We will be having a sleep over for all the kids in grades 2-12!  the cost is $7 for students and includes pizza, snacks, and breakfast. It will be March 12-13 from 7pm until 8am!  Music, games, movies and fun included!!  Bring sleeping bags, pj’s., pillows, and a mat (if have one) to sleep on.  Friends are allowed also for a cost of $10 and you must pre-register to come NO DROP OFF’s ALLOWED! Every parent needs to fill out a permission slip and sign your child in and out!  Cant wait!!
 
New ballroom course is starting March 5th and will include swing in this session! Come join in the fun.
 
We will also be starting a monthly adult/teen social dance with a lesson. Mrs. Mosley will be running these and the flier will be out very soon! Please watch for this as the public is invited to attend!! Examples: swing, country line….  
 
I am also getting some feedback to add a drama class and i am willing to do so if i have enough interested!! This would be a short course for the end of the year for 6 or 8 wks. Please let me know if your interested!!!  Mr. Blair is excited to teach this for us. You must be 8 or have approval from Miss Jen and Mr. Blair.
 
We will also be adding a homeschool ballroom class for any child who is homeschooled. If interested please contact the studio. More info will be following soon.
 
REMINDER!! Costume balances were due February 19. please remit with your child at their next class.  Costumes will start arriving in April and they must be paid in full to receive them. Costumes are non-refundable! 
ALSO i want to thank everyone for their timely payments this year. This keeps costs down when we dont have to send multiple reminders and keeps my secretary with little work. LOL   I have great families…thank you
